For the first time in its’ sixty year history, the Paralympic Games have been postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The Tokyo Games are rescheduled for August 24th to September 5th, 2021.
This blog is a personal reflection on the events leading up to the decision to postpone the Paralympics. It was a difficult time for everyone and a roller-coaster of emotions. One minute I was competing for a spot on the Australian Team, the next minute the world had changed and we were transitioning into lockdown.
