Animal-Assisted Therapy is a term to describe treatment based on the incredible bond shared between humans and animals. The belief that humans could benefit from having a connection with animals on both a physical and psychological level has been around for centuries. Modern scientists are now researching this area with great interest to find evidence to prove these ancient beliefs.
