Menora Wildfire

Owned by Gordon Wallace, ‘Menora Wildfire’ is a Morab gelding who was born and bred at Menora Stud in Victoria. Out of ‘Kanow Janus’ an Anglo/Arab mare and by the imported stallion ‘Willow Pond Joshua.’ He is descended from the Lippitt bloodline of Morgan horses.
Some of ‘Menora Wildfire’s’ credits include winning Most Versatile Junior Horse at the Images of the Year Arabian Show, in led, ridden, costume, western and harness. Six place in the Morgan National Show Silver Versatility. He came 2nd in the junior rider class of the Mt Cole Challenge 160km endurance ride and in his short endurance career notched up over 1000km with no vet outs.
Susan started training this very talented paint in dressage, and the pair enjoyed numerous successes in open level competition against able-bodied riders. They combined to compete at six Para-Equestrian National Dressage Championships and were the Australian National Champions in 2006. They won a record five consecutive RDA State Championships and held the Senior Highest Points Trophy three years in a row.
Larundel Gelata

‘Larundel Gelata’ is a beautiful grey 16.3hh, Australian warmblood mare owned and bred by the Sormani family at Larundel Warmblood Stud in Queensland. She is out of ‘Falkcar’ and by the exceptional stallion ‘Larundel Gandalf,’ who was a 4th generation Australian Warmblood with a genetic pool incorporating many of the best bloodlines throughout Europe (including Weltmeyer, Rubinstein, and Donnerhall).
Susan and ‘Larundel Gelata’ won their first test together at an open EA event against able-bodied riders. At the 2009 Werribee Dressage Festival they placed 2nd overall in the International Para-Equestrian Dressage Competition. In 2010, they were the Para-Equestrian Reserve National Champions and were selected onto the Australian Para-Equestrian Elite Squad. They gained qualifying scores and were selected to compete at the 2010 World Equestrian Games, held in Kentucky, America.
Mellizo

‘Mellizo’ is a purebred Spanish Andalusian gelding trained and owned by Nicole Downs. He is by the stallion ‘Wogonda Melido’ and out of mare ‘Pereza’. He has various titles to his name, and has won multiple classes in state and national Andalusian shows. In addition to showing, he also competes successfully in show jumping, dressage, horse trials and combined training.
Susan rode this impressive gelding in the Australian team selection trials for the 2008 Beijing Paralympic games. They were the 2008 RDA Australian National Dressage Champions after winning all three tests and gaining the highest scores of all the competitors at the event.
