Annual Athletics Carnival for children with a disability

Since 2018 Susan has been an ambassador for the 13Cabs (formerly known as Gold Coast Cabs) Annual Athletics Carnival for children with disabilities. The event held on the Gold Coast gives over 1000 school students who have various abilities the opportunity to participate in sport and aspire to progress to a competitive level.

Susan donated prizes to the school that won the highest overall points.

The McIntyre Centre

Susan is honoured to be an ambassador for The McIntyre Centre Riding for the Disabled, where she began riding at the age of seven. Susan started horse riding as a form of physiotherapy but quickly discovered a passion for competition that lead to her Paralympic dream. The McIntyre Centre is now a not-for-profit division of Help Enterprises Ltd. delivering equine assist programs to children with disabilities.
