The McIntyre Centre

Susan is honoured to be an ambassador for The McIntyre Centre Riding for the Disabled, where she began riding at the age of seven. Susan started horse riding as a form of physiotherapy but quickly discovered a passion for competition that lead to her Paralympic dream. The McIntyre Centre is a not-for-profit division of Help Enterprises Ltd. delivering equine assist programs to children with disabilities.

Susan loves animals and volunteers her time to help RSPCA Queensland. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Queensland (RSPCA Qld) is a non-government animal welfare charity dedicated to improving the lives of domestic, farming, and native animals. Susan has proudly supported this charity for many years and has volunteered in several departments including foster care, the wildlife hospital, and adoption.
